I feel pretty behind on everything lately...but this is why so I don't mind too much:)
So I have about 10 things I want to blog about (you know, like my child being born) but since I never have time to do even one I just wanted to write down these things Savannah says about Kylar before I forget them:)
"He's our happy baby!"
"He gots cute feets!"
"He's too happy!" (she means so happy)
I want to make them a princess and a frog for Halloween and when I asked Savannah if that sounded good she started crying and said "No! Kylar a princess too!"
"Wake up baby!!!"
"He's nice!"
"He gots nice hairs"
"This a baby doll Kylar!" (she likes to show him her baby dolls)
"Oh no, he needs his been-ty!"
"He's got kee-cups!"
"He neeze! (sneezed)"
"He likes you, he likes you!"
I have been pleasantly surprised at how much she likes being a sister...here's hoping it lasts because I'm loving our new baby and think he's a keeper:)

Flower Planting.
Today we gave up our title of Most Successful Weed Farmers and planted these instead:) Savannah loved to help water the flowers once I convinced her that pulling off the blossoms and shoving them into the dirt wouldn't turn out!
Before:
After: (Savannah kept crying because her shirt was "a mess!" from the dirt so we gave up on the shirt altogether.)

Easter & David's Birthday
We decided to let Savannah dye eggs at like 10pm on Saturday night because I'm on top of stuff like that:)
She thought that was the best game ever...
She started crying when there were no more eggs to dye (even though the girl had 2 whole dozen all to herself!)
On Easter morning, Savannah was skeptical about her tall basket at first...
But once she saw her ball she was all smiles!
And she caught on to the egg-hunting pretty quickly.
Emily and Stephen came over and had Easter brunch with us and also watched General Conference. It was all about Christ which I appreciated since it was in fact Easter:) It was a nice day.
David turned 28 and he let Savannah help blow out the candles on his strawberry pie since she was too scared of her own candles last week! For his birthday he got clothes and hats from me (like always:) and 3 fantasy books (which Kevin helped me pick out cause lets face it, I'm not your go-to girl for fantasy!) and movie passes and tons of his favorite snacks from Savannah! Then we had dinner at brick oven just the 3 of us:) He says he feels exactly the same:)
Also, we are expecting and new baby in August and...
I'm excited! (and scared:)

TWO!
Savannah turned two on Friday and we celebrated with her friends Payton and Addi (and their parents:) on Saturday. We took her to Farm Country to see the animals, then ate at California Pizza Kitchen then opened presents and had strawberry shortcake at our house.
I tried to take a few photos of my 2 year old before we left but she just acted her age so these are all we got!:)
Savannah loved feeding corn to this pony. She thought it was so funny that it licked her hand and wasn't scared at all!
And she was mad because I wouldn't get a bunny out for her:(
I think this was her favorite thing. She held on all by herself and just pet the pony like riding ponies was old news:) She is definitely not afraid of horses!
When we tried to open presents all Savannah cared about was her balloons and her new sunglasses! So Payton opened most of her presents for her...
These cute baby lawn chairs were from Grandma Childs.
Even though she didn't care about big horses, these candles are what made her nervous!
This morning in her new monkey pjs that Grandma Milne got for her. She loves them because we told her they were Curious George pjs:)
We love you Savannah!!!

2 Little Monkeys...
This is Savannah with her cousin Jackson who I babysit everyday. I was getting ready to put them in the bath the other day and they ran away and this is what I found. Savannah was bossing Jackson around trying to teach him to jump on her bed with her! They are definitely entering the 2-year old jump-and-climb-on-everything stage. I figure I can keep these pictures and bring them out when they are 15 and hate each other!
