New Hair

Today I decided it was time for Savannah's first haircut...i'm sure you can see why.  The picture above is before....

And here is after...

I think it makes her look like she's about 5 years old!

I got my hair chopped earlier this week too so now we have matching new hair.

(And sorry to my dad who is going to be so mad!...I decided that putting an end to the baby-mullet was the lesser of two evils!)

Packing Helper

The last few days I've been working on packing up our stuff to move to the new house (more about that to come).  Today I went into the next room to get another box and when I came back this is what I found...

Savannah was pulling out the wipes one by one, sucking on them a few times, then  putting them in her pile and pulling out her next victim!

As you can probably guess, the packing is not going very steadily or surely!  But I will say, even with Savannah's un-packing, it's about a million times better than doing it pregnant like last year!

Hanging Out With Dad

Whenever i am working on photos Savannah and David hang out.  These are pictures of them watching t.v. and playing video games.  To be fair they also, play peekaboo, eat pickles and look at the leaves outside, but I didn't have pictures of those.  Don't they look just alike?

Savannah is really into faces lately.  Its cute until she pinches!  She always tries to pick up your eye or nose or whatever so it really hurts!

Sometimes when David is playing Halo he dies in the game because Savannah is always trying to eat his controller or push the buttons!  He's tried to give her her own controller but she only wants his because it has lights!  She is very stubborn but very charming...I can't imagine where she gets it from...

TAG - Let's see how QUIRKY i am...Tell us five unspectacular quirks of yours...

QUIRK #1 - I never stay mad very long...even if I try. It's not a good look on me:)

QUIRK #2 - I grew up with only sisters so I am pretty much in the dark on almost all things boys...i depend on people who know to fill me in!

QUIRK #3 - I hate when its overcast but I love the rain.

QUIRK #4 - I HATE dill pickles! I despise them more than any other food...the taste, the smell, the texture...so gross!

QUIRK #5 - I can't watch scary movies without being scared and having nightmares for weeks afterward. I'm like a five year old about them. For the same reason I hate haunted houses, scary costumes, & scary tv shows. I used to make my sisters tell me what was happening while i hid behind pillows! David won't let me watch them cause i'll wake him up at night screaming in my dreams!

Pumpkin Patch

Today we went to the pumpkin patch in Springville to choose a pumkpin.  I thought Savannah would be excited cause they are so bright (not in these pictures, i still don't know why they upload grey, does anyone know?) but all she wanted to do was eat the leaves...hmm.

Six Months Old!

So I have no idea why these pictures are showing up grey on here but Savannah turned 6 months old on friday (September 26th) and this is what she looks like at 6 months old!
Thinking face, just like her daddy's!

At 6 months old Savannah can:
-sit up
-tell long stories by babbling
-laugh
-smile charmingly
-turn in a circle
-pick things up
-push up on her hands
-steal bites of mommy's food
-pull her own hair
-pull mommy's hair
-pretend to cough
-go through 4 outfits a day

Savannah is looking older every day and we love to watch her learn new things. My mom keeps telling me it will be harder when she can get around but I am still really anxious for her to be able to move around because she gets sooo frustrated that she can't do everything she wants to do!
